Port Bridge Renewal Construction Project: Groundbreaking Ceremony
The Nuremberg Public Space Company is starting to refurbish the harbor bridges.
At the Europakai, not far from the Hafenstrasse Bridge, Lord Mayor Marcus König, Mayor Christian Vogel and Government Vice President Birgit Riesner broke ground today, Thursday, December 1, 2022, to mark the start of Nuremberg's major project. The temporary bridge will be built at this site next year to bridge the period during which the three old bridges will be demolished and two new ones built in their place.
